Join us for a restorative 4-kilometre hike through the peaceful landscapes of the Alkkianvuori Health Forest. This unique watershed terrain, with its ancient shoreline formations and a rare protected slope bog, invites you to slow down and breathe deeply. From the northern slope, sweeping views over forests and wetlands create a powerful sense of presence.
Guided by Kintukka’s “Nature Professor,” you’ll hear stories about the area’s geological history, its distinctive natural features, and how the surrounding nature supports our health and well-being. Along the way, we’ll pause for simple practices designed to enhance relaxation and restore balance.
We’ll finish by the lakeshore of Alkkialampi, enjoying campfire coffee/tea and warm cabbage pie.
