The Kovero Crown Forest Lodge was established in 1859. It did not become independent until 1931. Kovero lived its golden age before the Second World War. After the war years, the farm gradually faded away and finally reverted to the state in 1970. Today, Kovero's traditional farm is part of the Seitseminen National Park and one of its most popular visitor destinations.
The farm has since been restored to its 1930s horse farm appearance and is maintained using traditional methods. Life in Kovero was hard and busy, with daily subsistence and maintenance of the buildings, and occasional parties. Despite everything, life was still good.
Come with your family, friends or work colleagues and discover the life of the people of Kovero Farm in Seitseminen. After hearing the story of Kovero, you will understand what life was like without electricity and machines.
