Arrival at Kintuka’s nature excursions
Kintuka Nature and Recreation Services is based in Parkano, in north-western Pirkanmaa. Our excursions take in the diverse natural sites of Parkano and the surrounding area.
By car
Highway 3 runs through Parkano, connecting the area to Tampere and Seinäjoki, amongst other places. The distance from Tampere to Parkano is approximately 80 kilometres. The starting point for the excursion may be in Parkano or elsewhere in the surrounding area, so please check the meeting point and driving directions before the excursion.
By train
You can reach Parkano by train from Tampere and Helsinki, for example. Parkano railway station is located outside the town centre. Please note that there may not be a direct public transport link from the station to the trip’s starting point. Check train timetables and tickets on the VR website.
By coach
You can also travel to Parkano by coach. You can find routes and timetables on the Matkahuolto website. Nature destinations are not always accessible by public transport, so it is worth planning any onward journeys in advance.
Check the departure point in advance
As our excursions take place at different nature destinations, we’ll agree on a meeting point for each specific excursion. You’ll receive the necessary arrival instructions before the excursion.
